Our Sailing Journey.
We’re Russ and Heather — a couple from Wales with a big dream that started back in 2017. After binge‑watching sailing channels on YouTube, we decided this was the life we wanted. No experience, just passion.
In 2018 we found our Catalina and spent two years on Lake Windermere fixing her up and learning to sail. In 2020 we moved her home to West Wales, where we spent years sailing, working, and making memories.
Eventually, with our teenagers losing interest and costs rising, we made the tough decision to sell her. But now our children are flying the nest… and the dream is calling again.
We’re planning our next chapter — a liveaboard that can take us around the world.
